Belgium-based Nana Akwasi Asare was the first foreign-based player to arrive as he landed in Cairo on Monday 1am local time.

The Egypt-based duo of Junior Agogo and George Owoo have also joined the Black Stars camp in Monday morning.

The other players in camp are home-based defender Habib Mohammed who travelled from Accra with the coaching staff.

South Africa based Jonathan Quartey joined the squad at 5am following a long journey from Johannesburg.

All the other invited players, who play in Europe, were in action for their clubs this weekend so they left their bases on Monday morning.

Captain Stephen Appiah also will arrive together with Sulley Muntari and Kwadwo Asamoah also later in the evening.

Appiah spent the weekend in talks with Russian champions Rubin Kazan.

The England-based contingent will also join camp later in the day

They are expected to be in camp well in time for the evening training session even though those in camp will have morning shake-up exercise.

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac is keen on a good result against the Pharaohs at the Cairo International Stadium. The game forms part of the preparation for both sides as they get ready for the start of the second phase of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers next month.
